Parking without a permit will incur a £30/day parking fine for which you are liable.

Car Parking - Visitors

Visitors requiring to park at the University may use daily scratchcard permits

There are special arrangements for Bona Fide visitors.

Bicycles

There is a covered, secure bike-shed adjacent to JCMB.  A key can be obtained from the Transport and Parking Office.

By December 2018 there are expected to be 1,000 manual bikes available across the city of Edinburgh, with electric models to be introduced in 2019. Bikes can be hired and returned at ony cycle hire point. You can download the app by searching "Just Eat Cycles" on Google Play or the Apple Store. Prices for using the bicycles are as follows:

-single trip - £1.50 for up to one hour

-day subscription - £3.00 for unlimited hires of up to one hour each in a 24-hour period

-annual membership - £90.00 for 365 days of one-hour hires

Trips over an hour incur an additional charge of £1.00 for each extra 30 minutes.
