Please take time to read these policies, particularly those relating to the School and the JCMB :
The School is required to report all fires, accidents and other incidents to the University’s Health and Safety unit by means of the University Accident and Incident reporting system. The reporter should complete the form via the link below (the School’s Health and Safety Adviser will received electronic notification) :
https://www.accidents.is.ed.ac.uk/authenticated/, then click on ‘Report an Incident’ towards the top left the screen.
The University advises students and staff to consult the current NHS guidance (dated 21 October 2014), please take a few minutes to read the 3-page document. Page 3 provides an algorithm of action to be taken if a "child/student" reports ill health, although this would apply equally to anyone. In the event of a more imminent need to take active precautions, then students and staff will be informed promptly.
