Welfare and Wellbeing

The mental and physical health of staff is of great importance; the School supports initiatives both by the University and external organisations promoting the wellbeing  of staff.

The Health and Safety Department have produced deetailed guidance for managers to help them understand their occupational health duties. Managers are encouraged to read this information carefully.

The School has an Equality and Diversity Committee which was created to improve/ensure equality in the workplace. All staff, particularly managers, are encouraged to complete the e-Diversity in the workplace online training module and to attend Developing an Understanding of Equality, Diversity and Internationalisation training.
